Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis -A Report of Four Cases-

Abstract
|
|
|
Four patients who had unilateral capital femoral epiphysis were treated by pinning and osteotomy since January, 1989 at Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Pusan Paik Hopital.
They were all males and the age range at first consultation was from 8 years to 13. The lesions occurred in the left side in three patients and in the right in one. Acute on chronic was 2 cases and chronic was 2 cases. The degree of slipping was
mild in
2 cases and moderate in 2 cases. Among the four patients, three manifested the Froh lich body type with underdeveloped genitalia.
This article reports 4 cases of SCFE.
